Our Timeline

This timeline is a chronological history of FCS.

April 1947 – United Tile Company of Dallas, Inc. is incorporated. Joe Bonnett is founder, majority shareholder and Chairman of the Board. United Tile Co. begins as a commercial floor tile and acoustical ceiling contractor.

1964 – Moved headquarters to 333 Adair St. (near Baylor Hospital). Facility consisted of 25,000 square feet of offices and warehouse.

1972 – Company’s 25th anniversary

September 1982 – Facilities Construction Services, Inc. incorporated as the merit shop sister company to United Interior Construction.

June 1993 – Moved to current corporate headquarters location in East Dallas. Facility consists of over 4 acres of property and 70,000 square feet of offices, architectural woodshop, finish room and warehouse.

April 1, 2002 – FCS celebrates 55th year in the commercial construction business serving the DFW Metroplex area and 55 years located in Dallas, Texas.
